Quantic Duo are a pair of firey musical Queens, DJ Kimba Jade and DJ Morpho, playing back-to-back across a range of genres including Techno, Tech House, Oriental Minimal and Latin, while incorporating bass and saxophone into their soundscapes. Here they threw down an epic set at a super fun house-party near Whangārei on May 25, 2024 during NZ Music Month.
New Zealand’s Queen of Bass, Paige Julia showcased her latest EP Anathema at Neck Of The Woods on Auckland’s K Road, on the final day of NZ Music Month. This release party absolutely went off, the energy of which at one point Paige described as “very special.”
Girl In The Purgatorium tells the story of a modern day Alice who wakes up in limbo, bound by the silken shackles of polite society. A mysterious hound helps her break these bonds before she is faced with a set of choices.
What will she be guided by? Love? Or fear? And what will be the consequences of her decisions? We are honoured to have been nominated and receive awards for this short film in 10 International Film Festivals.
